This workshop provides teachers with an understanding of the principles of Orton Gillingham and the methodology of phonics instruction. The training explains the research basis and the essential neuro-cognitive connections made when applying Orton Gillingham methodology to literacy instruction. Teachers who attend this workshop are provided with the skills and materials to implement Orton Gillingham intervention following the essential scope and sequence of phonics instruction in a data-driven multi-sensory capacity, supporting a growth mindset in order to provide students with the confidence and pathway for literacy success.
