For Parents of Students in Special Education and Reading Services Programs

This training was created and tailored for parents of students who struggle with literacy. In this training, parents learn about the multiple reasons that children struggle with reading and the developmental milestones of access to literacy skills. Parents also learn about best practices to support their children’s literacy and academic success. Parents participate in group discussions and guided activities that help them to recognize the attainability of effectively supporting their children.
