This training provides an in depth and multidimensional explanation of the most up-to-date definition of dyslexia, the experience of an individual with dyslexia, and the most contemporary methods for determining dyslexia, as well as a thorough training of how to screen for dyslexia with criterion based screeners. It also reviews all legislature pertaining to Dyslexia. As well as a comprehensive overview of best-practices for remedial intervention for struggling readers, and children suspected of having dyslexia. This training satisfies state legislative requirements of two hours yearly dyslexia training for public schools.
